The Confederation of Ugandans in Southern Africa (COUSA), will be holding an inspiring and impactful event, with a theme “Unifying Ugandans in Southern Africa.” The main purpose here, is to bring Ugandans together, and fostering unity, education, culture, and economic development. The mission is to provide a platform for Ugandan associations to network, share experiences, and celebrate Uganda’s rich culture while exploring new opportunities. This event will be held in partnership with the High Commission of Uganda, Pretoria South Africa. The purpose of this communication, therefore, is to invite you to be a part of this inspirational event COUSA is a Non-Profit Organization under the South African Department of Social Development. It serves as an umbrella body for organizations of Ugandans resident in the countries in Southern Africa, as catered for by the Uganda High Commission based in Pretoria. We are honored to announce the inception of a 1st COUSA Convention Pretoria 2023 happening from the 18th – 19th November 2023 in Pretoria, South Africa.

The Convention of Ugandans in Southern Africa (COUSA) is a registered non profit organization and umbrella association bringing together Ugandans in Southern African Countries like South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland. This initiative aims to re-brand and re-launch the original Confederation by expanding its mandate, reach and scope to embrace the collective will and aspirations of all Ugandan communities in our region, providing a common voice with inclusive development and empowerment of our Ugandan Communities in Southern Africa.
